Meryem Women’s Initiative Production and Management Cooperative aims to empower disadvantaged women, women who have been subjected to gender-based violence, poor, refugee and other women by providing them with employment opportunities, and carries out activities in this direction. In its production facilities, our cooperative works with hundreds of women to empower women who have been subjected to gender-based violence, vulnerable refugees, women who have been discriminated against on the basis of age, women who have been pushed out of life, and to ensure gender equality.

With the support of the Adana Metropolitan Municipality, the cooperative’s work plays a major role in achieving gender equality and the establishment of women’s policies in local governments.
