Who Are We
Meryem Women
Enterprise Production and Operation Cooperative was established by 37 partners
in Adana on 07.20.2020 with the principles of solidarity, equality and productivity
of Turkish, Syrian, Persian and Afghan women. The goal of our cooperative is to create
employment opportunities in different production fields and ensure the
empowerment of women.
Meryem Women
Enterprise Production and Operation Cooperative was established on 20 July 2020
in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and Adana
Metropolitan Municipality. It runs the Access to Livelihoods project. Within
the scope of this project, there are open field agriculture, greenhouse cultivation,
mask sewing, visor production, cultivated mushroom cultivation, fruit and
vegetable drying works. In open field agriculture, products such as
cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, spinach, cress, arugula, broad bean
are grown.
MERYEM gets
its name from itself. The name which exists in every nation, language and
religion is a sign for unity, solidarity and fraternity . Our cooperative was established with the
principles of Solidarity Equality and Production. Solidarity Makes
